Today's wish: small feet

Gosh, just THINK of all the shoes I could buy if I could get my big feet into the small Chinese shoe sizes…!???

(Hm…. To think of it. Maybe it is a good thing that I don’t?!)

But still… just look at these. Sex and the City meets China chic. I am in love.

(So was the Korean girl whose feet I demanded a photo of)

  2. My name is Smart, I think I had a good laf reading your blog. Your english is also above average for some one from the scand.

You are funny, if you have MSN messenger, we could chat at times, my ID is smartgrup@hotmail.com and budyiyke@yahoo.com

It happened to me in Shanghai several times at the Metro ticket station. On the line to buy a ticket to Wuxi, I was duly in line, then, one old guy with a wicked moustache came from "I dont know where" gave me a slight shove and planted himself at the back of the person in front, me now at his back. I couldn't take it any more, remember that he came from "I don't know where" and I had had that done to me all week. By the side, 2 police officers stood, I ran over and complained to them in english, pointing at the old guy as I did so, they, responding only in Chinese. When they invited the 'old guy' for a chat, I quickly planted myself where I should have been had he not muscled me out in the first place. Luckily, the one in my front was a guy, I pressed myself to his back so tighly, leaving no room for any type of invasion, Iraq type or Afghanistan. I don't know that I could have done that had it been a she.

I guess the police compelled "old guy" to grab the last line, for, when I managed to cast a quick glance, he was there looking forlorn. I swear I will not let that happen to me again, if the old guy likes let him be methuselah (aged 969 years before he kicked the bucket) he's gotta grab the last line !!

  3. I was looking for a dentist in Shanghai on Google and ended up on your blog. (btw, great review on Kowa Dental, I'll go next week)

Anyway, I kept reading and reading, really enjoy your postings.

As for your 'big' feet, I might have a solution. There is a shoe-guy in the Portman hotel on the 3rd floor. He can make shoes bigger, about 0.5-1 size bigger. Depends on the material. I have size 38/39 and usually Chinese shoes are a bit smaller. This shoe guy is amazing.
