SHE in China at "Blog interviewer"

Someone recommended my blog to a page called "Blog Interviewer" and as a result, I've been interviewed by them. Noting super interesting, I just thought I'd mention it. The Blog Interview page features a bunch of blogs, so maybe you'll find something you like from their link selection. And, you should of course add your own blog to their list! Read the full (although short!) interview here

You ought to contact BlogInterviewer and let them know that their links back to your blog are broken. Would be a shame if people read the interview, liked what they read, and then couldn't get to your blog!

By the way...is that 1,000 "visitors" or 1,000 "pageviews" a day? Either way, I'm impressed. Sure wouldn't mind having those numbers myself. Congrats!

Thanks for pointing that out... can't believe I didn't even check that myself. I guess I just took for granted that it would work.

Lately I've had around 1000 unique visitors/day and around 1,500 page loads/day... being a 'blog of note' sure was a good thing!! :) Although obviously its a bit scary too.. have a lot of pressure to write something interesting every day (which is, like any blogger would know.. quite impossible).

Dear Jonna,

As you are now a famous celebrity, you must be rolling in moolah. Accordingly, I have upgraded to a more expensive psychiatrist. Bill will be forwarded soon.

Cheers

Adrian

Kudos in both your blog and the traffic... you deserve all the attention you are getting for it. I'm really enjoying sharing China with you. Keep up the good work.

You seem to do a great job of posting interesting things.

Ignore the pressure and by yourself - you'll be fine. I think people will understand if you don't have a Pulitzer-worthy post every single day. You have an interesting "hook" of a fish-out-of-water that appeal to a lot of people.

btw, my tiny little blog seems to be getting some "coattails" traffic from your blog (from people clicking on my name when I make comments, I guess). I can't think of any other reason why I'd be getting visitors from China :)

You know, I was thinking about it, and I know blogging is a hobby and you do it because it's fun...but that's a lot of readers.

Why don't you have a blogroll or at least tell us what things you like to read? People appreciate you helping them find new things to read and bloggers appreciate being linked to.

And while you're at it why not plug some good Chinese study materials to earn a buck? Get an Amazon affiliate membership and tell people which books you've liked. Or maybe you like ChinesePod. They'll pay you to send people their way.

It's not too difficult and would actually utilize the vast readership you have. Just some thoughts.
