Guess the athlete game
Anybody recognize this iconic athlete? Probably much bigger in China than in his native Sweden. Anyway, this is who I will be spending Sweden's National Day with. Thumbs up if you -despite the bad photo- can tell me his name (and if you're not Swedish!).
I’m originally from Sweden but for the last 11 years I’ve been living in England, Australia, Finland and China (since 2006). Moving around has become a minor addiction for me and travelling is a big part of my lifestyle.
I’m passionate about writing and about learning new languages (except for Swedish and English I also speak Mandarin).
My blog, SHE in China, is about what I see, hear, and experience in my every day life here in Shanghai. Enjoy!

Wow. Jan Ove Waldner - loved immensely in China. An all time great - lucky you.
My guess would be Jörgen Persson
Looks like Jan-Ove Waldner, although the light isn't great which makes it tough- am I right?
Picture not very clear but based on your hint that he isn't very well known outside of China, I'm going to guess Jan-Ove Waldner :)
Damn, this guy is legendary in the eyes of Chinese.
A lot of local folks have great respect for him.
Borje Salming ;)
My guess would be Peder Peddersen, the badminton player?
约尔根·佩尔森 -Jörgen Persson!
Tricky one though, because Jan Ove Waldner was here too! But not for our event.
