If you REALLY have to go, then go, but don’t expect it to be nice. If you are not dying for it, hold it in. Shanghai railway station’s toilets are definitely not flash. But the worse bit about them: you cannot look the door. So unless u r used to peeing in public (or in front of curious Chinese women who thinks it is very interesting to see a foreign woman squat) then avoid these loos. In the future, I will too.
