I think you are the happies on these pics, as if you belong here naturally. Maybe you picture yourself one day at 65 you and your boyfriend in a red sommerstuga with grandchildren? :) Or will it be in some conested Chinese megacity in a small apartment? LOL.

I google your blog today and you are described as "SHE in China
Jul 17, 2009 ... Swedish teacher offers her views on life in China."

I dot think you had described yourself as a teacher...

loved the pictures, i totally wanna go to sweden now :) your family plays that stick game!!! what is it called??? I love that game, even though I've only played it a few times and call it "That Swedish Stick Game". I'm going to buy a set of sticks, right after you tell me what they are called ;)

thanks guys! so far the weather has been shit, but but... what can one do? Better just smile and be happy!!

Des -the swedish stick game (hahaha!) is called 'Kubb'.. and yes, i love it too, although I am not so good at it...

Chinnabon- i've seen that too and I wonder how it has happened?? I am not even a teacher, I just tutor a Korean girl once a week, and we mainly play games... Oh well... Not sure how it has happened, and not sure how to change it?

Anonymous -ahhh tell me more about your scando trip??!! What places did u go to? What did u like the best???

Teri -thank you so much!! :) Yes I am always very happy when I am around my loved ones.

Sassy -yes, and he was completely adorable! I almost want one for myself! :)

MKL -haha, yeah maybe, I laugh much more when I am in Sweden than when I am in China/Finland. I don't know, but I guess it is because of the security of this place. I know my friends and family so well and I feel that I belong w them. In FI and CHI I am still a bit of a stranger that is new to many things. A visitor... In SWE I am home!

Anonymous -our cute little cat is called 'Evelina' but we all have nicknames for her: korven, Linus, Linis, Evelyn, etc etc... She's 16 years old now and she's like one of us. She sits on a chair with us when we r having dinner and never leaves the garden when outside. She also comes when u call her name -just like a dog. Shame she is getting so old... :/
