Come fall, come, come!

Gear up for some more fashion!

Finally, it’s September! I really looking forward to the autumn weather to kick off, but not only the weather, but also some of this fall’s highlight. I will be travelling a lot in September (for work) but I’ll make sure I’m here in October, as that month is probably going to be the busiest/best month of the year:

1. NOTCH Festival (Nordic-Chinese music/art festival)

2. Shanghai International Jazz Festival

3. Shanghai International Fashion Week

4. Closing of the World Expo (expect some fantastic events + a Swedish crown princess in town).

It’s going to be fun, fun, fun, or what do you guys reckon? Which event are you looking forward to (attending or reading about) the most?

Now please, hot, humid sun, disappear from the sky so that I can start wearing all my cool autumn outfits. I’ve had it with summer dresses for a year or so (or at least until we are going to Australia this Xmas).

Is Mary going to Shanghai? How exciting?
I have been following your blogs for quite a while and found it funny and witty. It made me sad when you said you were giving it a break! I was clicking the link in my favorite today by chance and aha you have come back! It certainly made my day! It's always intereting to read stories and opinions from a laowai's point of view. Keep up writing the blogs!
I always wanted to live in Shanghai but now I am living in Perth! So reading from your experience made me feel like I was there too! :)
Are you coming to Perth for Xmas break by any chance? U2 is coming to Oz!!

Oops, how embarrassing! I must be dreaming when I was typing... pretend that I never wrote it...

Sometimes I take it for granted that I live in such a beautiful place! It's spring now in southern hemisphere, flowers are blossomming and weather is pretty good. :) Perth has undergone a lot of changes, for one it has more shops!!! :) U2 is playing on the 18th of Dec which is 3 days after I jet off for my holiday!
