New rumour at school

Only on the track...

Today in school I met one of the teachers from the international office.

-You Na! I heard you did quite well on the race last Friday!

-Yeah it was OK! Thanks!

-Is it true that it was your first 3000m competition?

-Yes.

-Is it also true that you run to school, every morning?

-Eh... no.

OK. Where does rumours like this come from?

You're famous! I bet you get people from the track team or something asking you to join.

hahahha, I don't think so tripfriend... I think I ran too slow to be part of a track team. I love that they now think I run to school every morning, seeing that I normally wear tight jeans/boots/heels/dresses at school... they must think I am a real shallow runner!

I reckon your efforts made the international officer proud. Yes, sometimes people like to make it bigger than it was to please you...

How I love Chinese oxymoronic propaganda! The Chinese characters at the wall of the state read "Working out one hour a day makes you healthy enough to work for 50 years. Blah blah blah..." I was in China this past summer. One topic came up constantly with Chinese friends was health. My Chinese friends blamed the pollutted air for their bad health. I told them they might want to change their lifestyle a little, like jogging and eating less heavy sodium dishes, which most Chinese dishes are. One professor friend agreed with me that working out was very important. After all, he has been working out for years and he is in good health considered his age. A few minutes into the conservation, he lit a cigarette. Hmm... it must be one of those things that can be called "with Chinese characteristic."

You're so catchy. I am sure there are already a lot of rumours behind you.
