Do not visit Shanghai at the end of June

This is the fifth day in a row when it looks like this… Whatever I said before about the plum rain making the temperature drop I have to take back. It’s now so humid that the clothes you’ve washed won’t dry. Not even after 2 days on the balcony. Instead they start to smell.

Humid Plum rain season = not the best time in China. Go away. Now!

Hej, nice to read your articles. I agree with you, actually it is also quite cold during the winter in Shanghai, although maybe just minus 3, much higher than that in Sweden. You can say now it is not the best time in Shanghai, but if you go to the north part of China, for instance, Harbin, the summer will be excellent time during the whole year. Because the climate there in Harbin is similar with that in Sweden, long dark cold winter:). This is why many Swedish people like sunshine during the summer.

Ohh.... good point. Last summer I almost went to Dalian but I heard the beaches weren't clean enough so that u could swim there. But harbin sounds nice... Maybe next summer!

Yep, Harbin is nice in the summer, where I spent 4 years. Probably, I will go there again after I go back to Shanghai.
